Q-01My town is not on the list — do you still serve it?+
Sometimes. If your property is just outside the six-county service ring, call the office and describe the scope. For larger residential projects and most commercial work we make exceptions where the logistics work. For small repair calls outside the ring, we will usually recommend a contractor who covers your area.
Q-02Do you work in South Carolina?+
Yes. We hold a South Carolina contractor license in addition to the North Carolina GC license, and carry South Carolina workers' compensation coverage. York County is a regular part of our service area — Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, Lake Wylie, and Clover all see our trucks routinely.
Q-03Is there a travel charge for outlying towns?+
No separate travel line item. The travel cost is built into the labor rate, which is why outer-ring projects sometimes price slightly higher than equivalent work closer to Charlotte. If travel significantly affects a project — for example a very small repair at the edge of the ring — we will disclose that up front and let you decide.
Q-04Do you do commercial work in all six counties?+
Yes. Commercial and multifamily projects run across all six counties. Commercial projects typically have more flexible scheduling than residential because we can run off-hours crews, so travel distance is less of a constraint. The commercial project minimum is $45,000 in scope.
Q-05What if I am in a ZIP code you do not list?+
Call the office and give us the address. Our ZIP check above covers the core service ring, but we make case-by-case exceptions for projects that justify the travel. If we cannot serve you, we will tell you honestly rather than booking a job we cannot get to in a reasonable window.
Q-06How far do you travel for storm response?+
Storm response follows the same ring as standard work, but the priority order changes. When a severe storm hits the metro we deploy emergency tarping crews first inside Mecklenburg, then out to the surrounding counties in the order the storm tracked. If you are outside the ring and have active water intrusion after a storm, call us anyway — we will try to help even if we have to refer you.
